The system

  • The Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura online booking system allows real-time reservations for the Villas of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura, for any date of the year, in accordance with the conditions set out below.
  • To carry out any operation, a minimum age of 18 years is required.
  • In the case of payment for the reservation through a credit card, it is essential to provide the card number, and if requested, the associated security code, to confirm and guarantee the reservations, along with a contact telephone number and an email address, to be able to send any communication related to the status of the reservations.
  • All rates and promotions are subject to the sales conditions published for each of them, which can be consulted on the Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura website: bahiazul.com 

 

Reservations

  • To confirm the reservation, a 30% deposit of the total reservation amount presented by the system will be required as a guarantee deposit for the expenses of preparation and setting up before the arrival of the Villa and its specific facilities.
  • Occupancy in each Villa will be a minimum of 1 person and a maximum of 6 as a general rule.
  • The villas generally consist of three bedrooms whose opening and availability depend on the occupancy: If there are 1 or 2 guests in the reservation, only the Master Bedroom will be opened; between 3 and 4 guests, the Master Bedroom as well as the 3rd Bedroom will be opened; and between 5 and 6 guests, all three bedrooms of the villa will be opened. If your personal circumstances require a different availability, it must be indicated at least 7 days in advance by email to booking@bahiazul.com, the opening of bedrooms entails an additional charge.
  • Babies up to 2 years old do not incur any additional cost. The age entered in the price inquiry and/or final reservation for babies and children will be the age they have on the date of entry to the hotel and must be specified in their identity document. The hotel may request an identification document. If a valid document is not provided or if the age does not correspond with the reservation data, during check-in, the hotel reserves the right to request the payment of the adult supplement.
  • Babies age: Up to 1.99 years (inclusive).
  • Children age: 2 to 11 years old (inclusive).
  • Adults age: 12 years old and above.
  • The minimum stay is 4 nights. In high season (Easter, Summer and Christmas) the minimum stay is 7 nights.
  • Experiences (excursions, services, and adventures) booked through the website bahiazul.com or by email booking@bahiazul.com, are 100% non-refundable. In case of not being able to attend, 100% of the amount will be charged to the client’s account.

  • Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura wants to thank the loyalty of its customers and among other benefits, all customers who make their reservation through the website www.bahiazul.com, will benefit from a discount on all expenses they make during their stay both in the SPA and in the RESTAURANT.
  • Conditions for applying discounts on expenses:
  • A 10% discount will be applied to all expenses that direct customers make, during each stay, both in SPA BAHIAZUL and in RESTAURANT BAHIAZUL.
  • To benefit from the discount, it is mandatory to always pay with "charge to the villa" as the form of payment.
  • The discount will be applied at the time of check-out and only at reception.
  • The discount will not be applicable to the consumption of products or services from third parties, such as transfers, excursions, third-party products offered at the hotel.
  • The discount is not cumulative with other promotions.
  • Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura reserves the right to eliminate the consumption discount program when it deems it appropriate and without prior notice.

 

Reservation Confirmation

 

  • The system will provide the data of the reservation made, along with a “locator number,” which must be used for any other operation or communication.
  • The reservation confirmation, provided by the system, will be subject to the validation of the data related to the credit card, or alternatively to the receipt of the transfer. Therefore, if there are errors in the credit card provided, the reservation will be canceled.
  • In the case of reservations made by bank transfer, they will remain provisionally pending until the firm receipt of the transfer in the account of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura.
  • The validity of the pre-booking will be detailed in the confirmation email sent by Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura upon receiving the request.
  • When checking “availability and price” and in the “reservation confirmation,” the corresponding amount for the total of your stay will be presented.
  • Availability is only guaranteed for reservations made through immediate payment systems (e.g. online credit/debit card or PayPal).
  • The company reserves the right to correct the content of a reservation if a typographical error or manifest error is evident (e.g. if the confirmation to the client shows a concept that they did not select or pay for).

 

Modification, Cancellation of Reservations, and No Show

 

  • An advance payment of 30% of the total reservation amount is required as a deposit. You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If you cancel your reservation from 6 days before the arrival date, the deposit paid will be valid for a new reservation during the following calendar year.
  • Date modifications. Between 59 and 10 days before arrival: Changes can be made to the arrival and departure dates, provided there is availability for the requested change.
  • Any modification regarding the number of guests, the type of villa, or any other aspect that does not involve changing the reservation dates, must be requested by email to booking@bahiazul.com and will always be subject to availability and the corresponding supplement if applicable.
  • Exceptions: These General Cancellation Conditions will not apply, and therefore no refunds will be made, for reservations with stays falling within the Easter, Summer (July 10 – September 15), and Christmas (December 23 – January 6) periods each year.
  • Once check-in is completed, the reservation cannot be canceled or modified, so if the client decides to shorten their stay or modify any conditions of their reservation (number of nights, number of people, type of villa, accommodation plan, etc.), they will not be entitled to any refund.
  • The General Cancellation Conditions will not apply to rates with offers or promotions, in these cases, the specific conditions corresponding to them will apply.
  • These conditions only apply to the end customer. In no case for agencies or intermediaries.

 

General

  • Pets are not allowed.
  • The villas have a mandatory private parking space. The use of outdoor parking spaces is limited to the minimum time necessary for loading and unloading (luggage, packages, purchases, etc.), and is not allowed during the client’s stay in the villa.
  • Carrying out any operation implies the full acceptance of these general conditions.
  • These conditions apply generally, except in promotions where different cancellation, modification, or refund conditions expressly apply.
  • The prices indicated do not include taxes from autonomous or local entities that establish specific rates for stays in tourist establishments located in their Autonomous Community. Generally, the corresponding amount of these taxes will be settled directly by the client before leaving the establishment.
  • Once check-in is completed, the total stay must be paid. It is essential to provide a credit/debit card as a guarantee.

 

Dress Code:

 

  • We want our guests to feel comfortable, but always maintaining a minimum level of consideration towards the other hotel guests.
  • Breakfast and lunch: informal attire, but under no circumstances will barefoot or shirtless access to the restaurant be allowed.
  • Dinners: Under no circumstances is it allowed to attend dinners in swimwear and/or flip-flops.
  • Gentlemen and children: shorts such as bermudas are allowed, but they must not look like swimwear or sportswear. Tank tops are not allowed. No flip-flops, closed shoes are required.
  • Ladies: open-toed sandals are allowed.
  • During the dinner service in the half-board package, drinks are not included.

 

Villas with Connecting Door:

  • There is a limited number of villas with a connecting door between the master bedroom and the second bedroom (usually used for families with children). To guarantee the availability of this type of villa, the client must request it by email at least 20 days in advance of their arrival and pay, at the time of check-in, a supplement of 15€ per day of stay.
  • Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura reserves the right to demand the corresponding responsibilities for the misuse of this system or the non-compliance with the rules set forth in these general conditions.
  • The user will be solely responsible in case the service is used improperly, partially, or incorrectly, or if someone operates on their behalf or on their account, using the procedures and access key.
  • The content of this website of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura is subject to copyright owned by Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura. Access to the website does not imply any license for reproduction and/or distribution, and it is not permitted without the written consent of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura.
  • For any disputes that may arise, the parties, with the express waiver of their own jurisdiction, submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Fuerteventura.
  • Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura is not responsible for the interruption, inaccessibility, or failure of any other kind that may affect the operation of the system, as a result of those that may occur in any telecommunications services or other accessories external to this entity and necessary for its operation.

 

Payment Methods

 

  • The payment of the reservation will be made in the hotel’s currency, which is the EURO. Prices in other currencies that may be shown on the website during the reservation process are merely informative and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations on the day.
  • Accepted payment methods are debit/credit cards: Visa, Master Card, and American Express, and in e-commerce, payment through Paypal is also accepted.
  • Limitation on cash payments.
  • In accordance with Law 11/2021, of July 9, on measures for the prevention and fight against tax fraud: operations with an amount equal to or higher than 1,000 euros (1,000.00 €) or its equivalent in foreign currency cannot be paid in cash if the payer is a resident in Spain or 10,000 euros (10,000.00 €) or its equivalent in foreign currency when the payer is a natural person who can prove they are not a tax resident of Spain and are not acting as a business or professional.

 

Right of Withdrawal

 

In accordance with the provisions of the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, approving the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, our entity is covered by the exception indicated in article 103.l; “The provision of accommodation services for purposes other than serving as a residence, goods transport, vehicle rental, food, or services related to recreational activities, if the contracts provide for a specific date or period of execution.”
