General Terms and Conditions
The system
The online booking system of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura allows real-time reservations for the Villas of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura, for any date of the year, according to the conditions established below. To carry out any operation, a minimum age of 18 years is required. In case of payment for the reservation through a credit card, it is essential to provide the card number, and if requested, the associated security code, to confirm and guarantee the reservations, along with a contact telephone and an email address, to send any communication regarding the status of the reservations. All rates and promotions are subject to the sales conditions published for each of them, which can be consulted on the website of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura: bahiazul.comReservations
- To confirm the reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the reservation shown by the system will be required as a provision for the expenses of preparation and set-up before the arrival of the Villa and its particular facilities.
- The occupancy in each Villa will be a minimum of 1 person and a maximum of 6 as a general rule.
- The villas generally have three bedrooms whose opening and availability depend on the occupancy: If there are 1 or 2 guests in the reservation, only the Master Bedroom will be opened; between 3 and 4 guests, the Master Bedroom as well as the 3rd Bedroom will be opened; and between 5 and 6 guests, all three bedrooms of the villa will be opened. If your personal circumstances require a different availability, it must be indicated at least 7 days in advance by email to booking@bahiazul.com, the opening of bedrooms entails an additional charge.
- Babies up to 2 years old do not incur any additional cost. The age entered in the price inquiry and/or final reservation for babies and children will be the age they have on the date of entry to the hotel and must be the one specified in their identity document. The hotel may request a supporting document. If a valid document is not presented or if the age does not correspond with the reservation data, during check-in, the hotel reserves the right to charge the adult supplement.
- Babies age: Up to 1.99 years (inclusive).
- Children age: from 2 to 11 years old (inclusive).
- Adults age: 12 years old and above.
- The minimum stay is 4 nights. In high season (Easter, Summer and Christmas), the minimum stay is 7 nights.
- Experiences (excursions, services, and adventures) booked through the website bahiazul.com or via email booking@bahiazul.com, are 100% non-refundable. In case of not being able to attend, 100% of the amount will be charged to the customer’s account.
Advantages for clients who book through the website bahiazul.com
Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura wants to thank the loyalty of its customers and among other benefits, all customers who make their reservation through the website www.bahiazul.com, will benefit from a discount on all consumptions made during their stay, both at the SPA and at the RESTAURANT.Conditions for applying discounts on consumptions:
- A 10% (ten percent) discount will be applied on all consumptions made by direct customers, during each stay, both at the SPA BAHIAZUL and at the RESTAURANT BAHIAZUL.
- To benefit from the discount, it is mandatory to always make payment “charged to the villa”.
- The discount will be applied at the check-out and only at the reception.
- The discount will not be applicable to the consumption of products or services from third parties, such as transfers, excursions, third-party products even if offered at the hotel.
- The discount will not be cumulative with other promotions.
- Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura reserves the right to eliminate the consumption discount program when deemed appropriate and without prior notice.
Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are for the exclusive use of guests linked to the stay from which the voucher originates. They are not refundable or cumulative for future stays or other offers.
- A single gift voucher is provided per reservation, valid for bookings made exclusively through bahiazul.com and/or directly with our reservations department.
- They cannot be sold or redeemed for cash. They do not apply to extra stays, accommodation regimes, and/or experiences.
- Gift vouchers can only be redeemed by the holder and guest of the corresponding reservation. In no case do they apply to the consumption of other hotel guests (not included in the reservation) or external customers not staying.
- In case of cancellation of the reservation, the gift voucher is automatically canceled. They are only offered for 7-night stays. Bahiazul reserves the right to eliminate the gift voucher program at any time.
Reservation Confirmation
- The system will provide the data of the reservation made, along with a “locator” number, which must be used for any other operation or communication.
- The reservation confirmation provided by the system is subject to the validation of the data related to the credit card, or in case of receiving the transfer. Consequently, if there are errors in the provided credit card, the reservation will be canceled.
- In the case of reservations made by bank transfer, they will remain pending until the receipt of the transfer in the account of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura.
- The validity of the pre-booking will be detailed in the confirmation email sent by Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura upon receiving the request.
- When checking “availability and price” and in the “reservation confirmation”, the corresponding amount for the total stay will be presented.
- Availability is only guaranteed for bookings made through immediate payment system (e.g.: credit/debit card online or PayPal).
- The company reserves the right to correct the content of a reservation if a typographical or manifest error is evident (e.g.: if a concept appears in the confirmation to the customer that he did not select or pay for).
Modification, Cancellation of Reservations and No-shows
- Advance payment of 30% of the total reservation is required as a deposit. You can cancel for free up to 7 days before arrival. If you cancel your reservation from 6 days before the arrival date, the paid deposit will be valid for a new reservation during the following natural year.
- Date modification. Between 59 and 10 days before arrival: It is possible to make changes regarding arrival and departure dates, as long as there is availability for the requested change.
- Any modification related to the number of guests, the type of villa, or any other aspect that does not involve changing the dates of the reservation, must be requested by email to booking@bahiazul.com and is always subject to availability and the corresponding supplement if applicable.
- Exceptions: These General Cancellation Conditions will not apply, and therefore no refunds will be made, for stays during Easter, Summer (July 10 – September 15), and Christmas (December 23 – January 6) of each year.
- Once check-in is completed, the cancellation or modification of the reservation cannot be made, so if the customer decides to advance their departure date or modify any of the conditions of their reservation (number of nights, number of people, type of villa, accommodation regime, etc.), they will not be entitled to any refund.
- The General Cancellation Conditions will not apply to rates with offers or promotions; in these cases, the corresponding specific conditions will apply.
- These conditions apply only to end customers. In no case for agencies or intermediaries.
General
- Pets are not allowed.
- The villas have a private parking space for mandatory use. The use of external parking spaces is limited to the minimum time necessary for loading and unloading (baggage, packages, shopping, etc.), and is prohibited during the customers’ stay in the villa.
- The completion of any operation implies full acceptance of these general conditions.
- These conditions are generally applicable, except in those promotions where different cancellation, modification, or refund conditions expressly apply.
- The prices indicated do not include taxes from regional or local entities that establish specific fees for stays in tourist establishments located in their Autonomous Community. As a general rule, the amount corresponding to those taxes will be settled directly by the customer before leaving the establishment.
- Once check-in is completed, full payment of the stay will be required. It is essential to provide a credit/debit card as a guarantee.
Dress Code:
We want our guests to feel comfortable, but always maintaining certain considerations towards the other hotel guests.- Breakfast and lunch: Casual attire, but under no circumstances will access to the restaurant barefoot or without a shirt be allowed.
- Dinners: Under no circumstances is it allowed to attend dinners in swimwear and/or flip-flops.
- Gentlemen and children: You may wear shorts, such as Bermuda shorts, but they must not resemble swimwear or sportswear. Tank tops are not allowed. Sandals are not allowed, closed shoes must be worn.
- Ladies: You may wear open sandals.
- During dinner service, in the half board regime, beverages are not included.
Villas with connecting door:
- There is a limited number of villas with a connecting door between the master bedroom and the second bedroom (typically used for families with children). To ensure the availability of this type of villa, the customer must request it by email at least 20 days in advance of their arrival and pay the supplement of 15€ per day of stay upon check-in.
- Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura reserves the right to demand the corresponding responsibilities for the misuse of this system or the failure to comply with the rules contained in these general conditions.
- The user will be solely responsible in case the service is used improperly, partially, or erroneously, or if someone operates on their behalf, using the procedures and access key.
- The content in this Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura website is copyrighted property of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura. Access to the website does not imply a license for reproduction and/or distribution, and is not permitted without the written consent of Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura.
- For any disputes that may arise, the parties, expressly waiving their own jurisdiction, submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Fuerteventura.
- Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura is not responsible for the interruption, inaccessibility, or failure of any other kind that the system operation may suffer, as a result of those that may occur in any telecommunications services or other accessories unrelated to this entity and necessary for its operation.
Payment Methods
- The payment for the reservation will be made in the hotel’s currency, which is the EURO. Prices in other currencies shown on the website during the reservation process are purely informational and subject to the exchange rate variations of the day.
- Accepted payment methods are debit/credit cards: Visa, Master Card, and American Express, and in e-commerce, payment through Paypal is also accepted.
- Cash payments are limited.
- In accordance with Law 11/2021, of July 9, on measures to prevent and combat tax fraud: operations of an amount equal to or greater than 1,000 euros (1,000.00 €) or its equivalent in foreign currency cannot be paid in cash by payers with tax residence in Spain, and 10,000 euros (10,000.00 €) or its equivalent in foreign currency when the payer is a natural person who can prove that they do not have tax residence in Spain and do not act as an entrepreneur or professional.
Right of Withdrawal
- As established in Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, approving the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, our entity is covered by the exception indicated in article 103.l; “The supply of accommodation services for purposes other than serving as a dwelling, transportation of goods, vehicle rental, food, or services related to recreational activities if the contracts provide for a specific date or period of execution.”
